How to improve internal career development (Online)

21. March 2023
kl. 09.00 - 11.00  CET

Internal career development is one of the most important drivers of job satisfaction and retention of talents. We know that securing opportunity for internal development can lead to increased productivity where for example job clarity, supportive working environment and a good relationship with nearest manager has a huge influence on engagement.

Even though we know the importance of this, many organizations are still struggling. Lack of common principles and tools across the organization, lack of transparency in career opportunities and difficulties of managing career expectations are some of the common limiting factors for internal career development. Also, many organizations focus primarily on their top talent, and not on the potential of the entire workforce.

Join us at this meeting where we will focus on internal career development programs. At this meeting we will be joined by Bojana Zupanic, Global Talent Management Consultant, Rambøll. Bojana and Cristina Fors Holmark, Head of Learning & Talent Development at Ørsted, who will talk about how we can approach the challenges of internal career development in the best possible way.

We will focus on:

  • How to change the overall mindset when it comes to career?
  • How to create a Career Development Philosophy that promotes individualized career paths, growth through experiences, open conversations, and clear employee ownership?
  • How to create tools and processes that have significant effect on internal career development and internal mobility?

With Rambøll’s new global career development approach their goal is to empower employees and leaders to manage careers more systematically, effectively, and consistently.

With Ørsted’s new global job architecture, career and competency framework the aim is for employees to take ownership of their career supported by the people leaders and Ørsted providing the necessary tools.
