The Upside of Uncertainty (Online)

25. October 2022
kl. 08.30 - 10.30  CET

Uncertainty is increasing. It’s always been here but not like this, and it’s not going away.

While part of our capacity to deal with the unknown is innate, a larger portion is learned. Those who develop this “uncertainty capability” are more creative, more successful, and better able to turn uncertainty into possibility.

When we reframe each uncertainty we encounter as possibility, we leap across or over from one thing to another. Since we are all experiencing uncertainty, possibility awaits all of us…we just have to grasp how to leap over to where it is.

Participate in this virtual event in collaboration with Tatarklubben, where you meet Nathan and Susannah Furr, authors of the book The Upside of Uncertainty – A Guide to Finding Possibility in the Unknown. A science-backed guide for navigating and thriving through uncertainty – based on interviews and insights from world-renowned innovators, entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives.

Whether you’re starting or running a business, searching for new ideas, or trying to advance in your career, you’re likely to grapple with the unknown and unpredictable every day. Though these moments can be difficult and uncomfortable, they also offer opportunities for personal growth, innovation, and creativity.

In The Upside of Uncertainty, INSEAD professor Nathan Furr and entrepreneur Susannah Harmon Furr provide a panoramic guide to transforming uncertainty into a force for good. Drawing from hundreds of interviews and pioneering research in psychology, innovation, and behavioral economics, Nathan and Susannah provide over thirty tools for adopting a more positive view, developing a vision for what to do next, and opening ourselves up to a future of possibility.
