Strategic improvement work – Online network meeting
Strategy execution and collaboration across divisions and value chains can easily move very slowly in today's complex organizations. Many good intentions and initiatives die in the tension between operation and change – especially when the problems are between two chairs. Therefore, we need strategic improvements.
I Region Nordjylland In recent years, HR has experimented with strategic improvements to support projects and improvements in the value chain very close to operations. It is about bringing the involved parties together and facilitating dialogue, cooperation and progress in the business, while the work is actually being carried out. We are a long way from HR as a course department here.
Join us on 8.11. when we explore the many opportunities, challenges and dilemmas that exist when HR facilitates complex, cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategically important improvements.
Among other things, we will discuss questions such as:
- What skills are needed in HR to work so closely in the value chain?
- How do you align expectations, goals and roles with the business in this work?
- How is management and responsibility distributed between HR and business?
- How are such efforts prioritized and coordinated?
- What are the challenges, especially when this work has to fit in with other HR services?
You will be presented with concrete methods, tools and cases. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in both the plenary and smaller breakout rooms along the way. You can expect to find knowledge and inspiration to equip your colleagues to facilitate collaborative processes close to the value chain, as well as an increased understanding of the barriers you easily encounter in that context.
The meeting will be highly interactive and not a classic webinar. The participants are expected to show up with an open mind and contribute actively to the sharing of knowledge and the exercises with their own experiences and challenges. We mix small presentations, exercises, discussion, games and co-creation with networking so that you get as much knowledge and inspiration as possible. Passive "listening to the webinar" does not work here.
If you have not attended NOCA's facilitated online meetings before, we expect you to watch 10 minutes of video that prepares you to participate fully in the meeting. Headset, broadband and individual webcam are required.
