Applying People Analytics

HR business partners and leaders are expected to use People Analytics, not just strategically, but also in day-to-day decisions. At this event we look at what HR needs to know about People Analytics.

PEople Analytics - NOCA

Once a back-office output, now a board-level tool

Many HR practitioners today recognize People Analytics as a tool to tie business strategy and HR activities together. However, despite the acknowledgement of People Analytics, the actual implementation and use of insights gained from HR data is in many organizations still scarce. At this event we look at how HR can apply People Analytics to drive business decisions.

Evidence-based HR is not just about managing big datasets, integrating cloud solutions, or improving interfaces. It is about understanding the organization, how to recognize and analyze an important issue, and how to bring analysis forward for decision. Underpinning business outcomes with a data-led people strategy is the ambition, but what does the HRBP and CHRO need to know to secure an evidence-based approach to HR?

Join us on Dec 8th as we present three different perspectives on People Analytics from: A.P. Møller Mærsk, Ørsted and Vestas

The event will focus on the following:

  • How to apply People Analytics both strategically and in day-to-day decisions
  • Tools and processes for applying People Analytics.

Pete Jaworski - NOCAPete Jaworski, Director, People Data & Analytics at A.P. Moller – Maersk

Over the past 3 years Pete has provided advisory services regarding Human Capital Analytics Strategy, first as Principal Consultant at PwC, then as an independent consultant, and through NHCA – an academic consultancy. He also has 18 years of HR program-building-experience gained from prior roles such as Director of Workforce Analytics & Planning at Novo Nordisk, Head of Reward Infrastructure & Analytics at Nordea, and has recently joined Mærsk.

Kiril Boyanov - NOCAKiril Boyanov, Analyst in People Analytics, Ørsted

As a part of the People Analytics team at Ørsted, Kiril has been working on automating HR-reporting and has been involved in the strategic planning of how the team can move towards delivering actual analytics. He has been the main driving force behind this process and has got great insights into what it takes to make it succeed both from a technical and an organizational perspective. Kiril has a cand.merc. degree from Aarhus University and has now been with Ørsted for nearly two years.

Henrik Gjesing Antvor - NOCAHenrik Gjesing Antvor, Director of People Analytics and insight, Vestas

Henrik will introduce us to the opportunities of using passive data to understand and change internal behavior. Applying People Analytics often focus on how to conduct either reporting or predictive analysis based on active data, however, there are many ways in which we can utilize the data that we already have – the passive data. At this event Henrik will talk about how passive data can be used to track and improve challenges related to issues from low productivity and internal integration of teams to work life balance and micromanagement. Henrik Gjesing Antvor is a Senior Analytics Specialist with over 20 years’ experience of driving change through people analytics. Before joining Vestas 11 years ago, Henrik was Head of Analytical Development at Ennova.
