Bonus and other performance pay
The 23. August let's meet for a true NOCA day at Norrbom Vinding. Here we will address the challenges and not least the legal aspects surrounding Bonus and other forms of performance pay.
Many companies have introduced one or more bonus systems with the aim of increasing the overall performance of the individual employee and the entire company.
However, a bonus system is not without complications and requires a great deal of maintenance and follow-up. A number of cases show us that there is probably a lot of uncertainty in the area, to the detriment of both employees and companies.
- Who in the organization should be responsible for the arrangements?
- What rules apply?
- How should bonus schemes be introduced and maintained?
- Should a bonus be paid during sickness, maternity and layoff?
- What happens when you resign from the company?
- Are there reasonable alternatives?
- Are there any particular problems with global bonus schemes?
The questions are many – the legislation and case law answer a part of them – but the crucial thing for the company is that, as far as possible, you know as many of the answers as possible in advance.
