The new generation on the labor market
Generation Z, Millennials, Graduates, Young People – Whatever we want to call them, there is a new generation entering the labor market. And whether you like it or not, it is this generation that will define the labor market in the future.
But what exactly does this new generation of workers want? And how should companies deal with the challenges and opportunities that are potentially at stake?
Come along to this meeting in collaboration with NOCA and the Danish HRM Association, where you will have the opportunity to participate in several networking activities. Here, the future generation of HR employees and representatives from different companies will have the chance to spar with each other about what opportunities there are for a student on the labor market and what a company can expect from the new generation of potential employees.
Speakers:
Young Consult will introduce us to a talk about why the labor market as we know it is breaking up. And how to, as a company, win the favor of talent and achieve extraordinary results through purpose, inclusive management and execution.
Lecturer from CPH Business, Karen Christina Spur, will provide recommendations on how to be a good leader for Generation Z and how to attract and retain this new generation.
Gry Egstrup, Senior VP of HR Development, will present a case from TDC. Since last March, they have increased their number of student assistants by over 60%. This is a completely deliberate strategy to establish a talent pipeline, strengthen diversity and provide TDC ambassadors at the educational institutions. - and then it is a method to get a new generation on the labor market into TDC.
Thomas Dahlgaard, Director of Recruitment, Employer Branding and Job add operations at Jobindex, will talk about various studies that show the work behavior of Danes. The starting point here will be the younger generations. In addition, Thomas will talk about the various channels through which young people look for and get jobs.
Panel discussion:
You will also meet Johan Hygum Hillers, Co-founder and CEO of INDIVIDUALS, who will give his perspective on the demands and expectations that talented young people have for how life should be lived and work should be understood. This presents challenges for managers regarding development, retention and recruitment. Participants in the panel debate will be continuously updated.
