How to turn managers and employees into ambassadors for the organization on LinkedIn
Today's organizations are expected to be present on social media. Not only to market itself, but to attract talent, create an understanding of its mission and value proposition and to involve its external stakeholders. At the same time, the internal value of social media is equally important. Social media is used to communicate direction and strategy internally, as well as increase employee engagement, pride and alignment around work. Being an active and engaged ambassador on LinkedIn and other social media for your organization is a way to lead both in and out of the organization. At the same time, it is an art for both managers and employees.
At this meeting:
We place a particular focus on LinkedIn, where work- and company-oriented communication is central. LinkedIn is used today for everything from knowledge sharing, branding, sourcing, marketing, recruitment, employee advocacy and branding etc.
Join us online on 21 November when we meet Morten Vium for a conversation about online ambassadors. Morten is a partner in Netværks Akademiet and an expert in the use of LinkedIn and will share his experiences with us during the meeting and give good advice, tips and feedback. You will have the opportunity to ask him questions in both the plenary and smaller breakout rooms along the way.
You can expect to find knowledge and inspiration to dress up your colleagues as ambassadors on LinkedIn, as well as an increased understanding of the barriers you easily encounter in that context.
The format:
The meeting will be highly interactive and not a classic webinar. The participants are expected to show up with an open mind and contribute actively to the sharing of knowledge and the exercises with their own experiences and challenges. We mix small presentations, exercises, discussion, games and co-creation with networking so that you get as much knowledge and inspiration as possible. Passive "listening to the webinar" does not work here.
In preparation, everyone must watch a 6-minute video with Morten on today's topic in the week leading up to the meeting. If you have not participated in NOCA's facilitated online meetings before, we also expect you to watch a 10-minute video that prepares you to participate fully in the meeting. Headset, broadband and individual webcam are required.
