Sickness absence: Causes and prevention
Sickness absence is a critical focus area for many Danish organisations, as it affects both employee well-being and the company's productivity. Sickness absence can be related to many factors, including health, mental and physical working environment, job requirements and management. A high level of sickness absence can signal deeper organizational challenges such as stress and dissatisfaction in the working environment. At a time when employee satisfaction and well-being are the focus, it is essential to be able to understand and deal with the causes of sickness absence.
We invite you to an exciting webinar with us Jesper Kristiansen, senior working environment researcher at the National Research Center for Working Environment (NFA), who will share his knowledge about sick leave and the working environment. Jesper has extensive experience with research into how the working environment and organizational factors affect sickness absence in Danish companies, and how a poor working environment can lead to dissatisfaction and stress, which can lead to sickness absence - and thus to financial consequences for the entire organisation.
Join this webinar where we will delve into:
- A deeper understanding of the causes of sickness absence and what the workplace can do to prevent and manage sickness absence.
- Facts about short, medium and long sickness absence
