Virtual Reality as an HR and communication tool

VR can offer experiences that are so different that you have to try it before you can understand how it can be used. If Virtual Reality is approached correctly, it has great potential for creating powerful experiences, learning and anchoring messages.

Join us as we focus on Virtual Reality to convey complex messages and create learning and change.

We meet at Khora, where we will hear three different angles and experiences with VR:

  • Ørsted: Creative Strategist Niels Rahr from Corporate Branding will talk about Ørsted's use of VR to create a strong impression of the company both internally and externally. You can experience their VR safari and discuss the possibilities for communicating strategic and emotional messages through VR.
  • Khora: Simon Lajboschitz, founder of Khora, will unfold current and soon-to-be possibilities with VR and let attendees try different technologies. Simon will come up with several different examples of how VR can be used for communication and learning.
  • Ministry of Business: HR Development Consultant, Malene Pitters, from the Ministry of Business, will talk at this network meeting about how they use VR in employer branding. They do this i.a. with VR, where potential new employees get a visual and vivid impression of the ministry as a workplace - with both professional and social aspects. You can get a virtual tour of the Ministry of Business and Industry and hear about the experiences with the use of VR in employer branding.

Virtual Reality is not very widespread in Denmark, and it can be difficult for many HR departments to see how it can bring value to their organisation. But if we see e.g. in the US, VR is used more and more as an important element in various HR areas. This can, for example, be recruitment, onboarding and general training of employees.

Therefore, come along to this network meeting and take part in discussing how Virtual Reality can be used as an asset in HR. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to put on the glasses and experience Ørsted and the Ministry of Business and Industry's VR projects.

The event will be continuously updated with new presenters.
