Assessments revisited: The recruitment of the future

New research is changing the recruitment processes of the future

(The event is for NOCA's members and members of VPP)

Recruitment processes have for many years rested on a scientific approach to personal assessment and assessment, but new research is now challenging this foundation. Research has revealed that the meta-study we have previously considered the gold standard no longer lives up to expectations of validity, and the estimates we have previously relied on have been, in part, severely inaccurate and unintentionally inflated. We are therefore in the midst of a paradigm shift, where recruitment methods must be reassessed and rethought to ensure precision in the Talent Acquisition (TA) of the future.

In this webinar, Lise Sustmann Allen, Head of Psychology at Master International A/S and a key figure in the Knowledge Center for Professional Person Assessment, will present the latest meta-study from Sacket et al, who in 2022 and 2023 published new research results that challenge previous standards within assessments. She will, among other things, explain how the results of Sackett et al.'s new meta-study may affect methods such as structured interviews, and what the study says about cognitive ability tests, which may no longer be considered the universal solution across roles and industries. And if they can, what should we pay extra attention to when using them?

Martin Arvidsen, who has many years of experience with Talent Acquisition and test and assessment set-ups from his roles in GN, Topdanmark, PFA and DFDS, contributes to this. Martin will share his practical experiences in building effective solutions, reflect on the challenges and provide valuable input to the participants.

This webinar is an important opportunity for HR professionals who want to be at the forefront of the latest knowledge and ensure that their recruitment and assessment methods are based on up-to-date and scientifically sound practice.

Don't miss the chance to gain a deeper understanding of how you can optimize your TA processes and ensure that your hiring decisions are based on the best possible evidence. Sign up today!
