NOCA Anniversary: Job satisfaction - because life is too short for anything else!
In organizations today, and especially in the future, job satisfaction is not just a luxury, but a necessity. It is the fuel that drives employee motivation, creativity and productivity. From an organizational perspective, job satisfaction contributes to lower sickness absence, greater employee attachment and a stronger reputation as a workplace. These factors are paramount in a labor market where there is a battle for talent, increasing competition and demands for sustainability.
Challenges in the Creation of Job Satisfaction
Unfortunately, the road to job satisfaction is often full of challenges. More and more employees experience stress and burnout, and this damages both the individual and the organization as a whole. An increasing workload, a lack of balance between work and private life, as well as a lack of action from management who are themselves under pressure, are just some of the challenges we see in today's organizations. In order to solve these problems, it is crucial that we have the courage to break new ground and take on what does more harm than good, so that what works can get our focus and energy instead.
So put a cross in your calendar for 14 November, when we will hold NOCA's anniversary, this time in the beautiful surroundings of Ørsted.

The superglue of the future – this is how you create cohesion and job satisfaction in 2024
We humans are far more alike than we are different. We certainly belong to different generations, genders, ethnicities and language tribes, but we have something much stronger in common: a fundamental need to feel heard, seen and understood.
Serial entrepreneur and lecturer Jonathan Low therefore focuses on strategic listening as the superglue of the future to create cohesion and promote job satisfaction. With examples from both the entrepreneurial world and established companies, he shows how to learn to listen louder, just as he does away with the big purpose narrative as the answer to the organizations' current challenges in attracting and retaining the right talents and employees.
Look forward to a down-to-earth and action-oriented presentation from one of the country's most sought-after entrepreneurs, best-selling authors and speaker.
Willingness to work: The key to well-being and efficiency in your organization
At a time when desire to work is more relevant than ever, the Knowledge Center for Good Desire to Work has identified seven factors that explain 75% of the desire to work among Danish wage earners. On the anniversary, the Senior Consultant will Anette Dalum Normann present these factors and their importance in creating a good desire to work.
As participants, you will have the opportunity to reflect on what desire to work and especially the experience of meaning means to you and your organisation. In addition, they will gain insight into how to actively promote a desire to work in the organisation, as well as what this can mean for the bottom line, sickness absence and the retention of employees.
Mastering Generational Dynamics: Redefining Work Happiness for a New Era
In today's diverse workplace, HR professionals must go beyond navigating generational differences to understand how these differences fundamentally reshape the concept of work happiness. From Boomers to Gen Z, each generation brings its own values and approaches, influencing collaboration, workplace culture, and overall organizational satisfaction.
In this session, IMD Affiliate Professor of Leadership Katharina Lange will guide you through the evolving generational patterns that are shaping how we work today and influence the future of productivity and fulfillment in the workplace. Discover how the new generation's revolutionary perspectives on flexibility and purpose shift from the notions of previous generations at work to a more dynamic, transformative experience.
