HR Analytics: Individual characteristics, projects and patterns in decision making

What drives decision-making and how can HR analytics decode behavioral patterns to enhance leadership and performance?

In today’s project-driven workplace, employees don’t just make decisions – they follow distinct cognitive patterns influenced by their roles, responsibilities, and the projects they work on. Studies show that employees contributing to different project types (product development vs. commercialization) structure their decision-making differently – and they don’t always think like their managers.

Join us for an insightful webinar where we explore groundbreaking research from the study “Project Managers and Decision Making: Conditional Cognitive Switching and Rationally Stepping Up.” This session will reveal how individuals (especially project managers) navigate uncertainty, switch between analytical and experiential decision-making approaches, and what this means for HR analytics and talent management.

What you’ll learn:

  • Academic insights into decision-making patterns: How employees and managers structure their thinking differently in various project types
  • Cognitive Gear Switching: When professionals shift between intuition and rational analysis and why this matters in project environments.
  • HR analytics & talent matching: How understanding decision-making tendencies can help HR leaders assign the right individuals to the right projects
  • Bridging research with practice: How these findings translate into better leadership development, team collaboration, and HR strategies
  • Empowering employees and managers: How individuals can gain greater awareness and control over their decision-making processes

HR analytics isn’t just about numbers. It’s about understanding people. This session will bridge behavioral science with HR strategies, helping you uncover patterns in how professionals make decisions. These insights can foster talent development, improve leadership training and create more effective HR frameworks for hiring, retaining and supporting employees.

Who should attend?

  • HR professionals looking to integrate behavioral insights into analytics strategies
  • Talent managers seeking to improve leadership development
  • Project managers and project members navigating complex decision environments
  • Organizational strategists interested in decision-making science
  • Anyone curious about how data and psychology shape workplace behavior

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the fascinating intersection of HR analytics, cognitive science, and decision-making. Join us to gain insights that will transform how you approach talent management and leadership development!
