Presentations of the day

How to Find the Human Premium in the Era of AI

Hung Lee, Curator, Recruiting Brainfood

If AI is going to change Talent Acquisition – and in fact, reduce the volume of work currently performed by TA – then we need to understand what things humans can do that AI cannot.

Focus and dedication in Talent Acquisition build further diversity

Learnings from the Tryg Group

Anna-Louise Plougmand, Head of Talent Acquisition at Tryg, will share her expertise with ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion within the recruitment process at The Tryg Group. Focusing on Tryg’s approach, Anna-Louise will present initiatives for attracting applicants from diverse backgrounds. She will also discuss training programs for recruiters and leaders that raise awareness of bias. Additionally, she will share examples of how Tryg uses data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of their DEI efforts and ensure continuous improvement. She will introduce practical tools and methods for creating an inclusive recruitment process.

Beyond the CV: The Power of Blind Recruitment and Anonymized Cases

Blind recruitment is about stripping away irrelevant factors like gender, age, ethnicity, and appearance to focus on what truly counts: competencies and motivation. But why stop there? Instead of relying on CVs and cover letters, we should delve into candidates’ actual abilities and drive. This can be achieved through tailored recruitment cases designed to assess their job-specific competencies and motivation. In his talk, Lars Lundmann explains how multiple-choice recruitment-cases transform hiring by making the process more engaging and accessible, attracting a broader, more diverse range of candidates—including passive job seekers. The impact? A richer talent pool, a fairer process, positive candidate experiences, and a streamlined, cost-effective approach that enhances both quality and diversity in hiring.
