The price of unfreedom

The greatest challenge of modern organizations: To break the shackles of bureaucracy and release the human potential!

In a time when innovation, adaptability and efficiency are paramount to succeed as individuals and organisations, we are experiencing a growing challenge: Bureaucracy and lack of freedom. Over-bureaucratization limits us and hinders our progress. Ideas are hard to realize in bureaucracies; Ideas that can create development and growth in our organizations and society.

85% of managers state in a Bain & Company survey that their challenges in creating a successful business are not due to external factors such as competition, regulations or unions, but rather something that exists within their own organizations. Why is this the case?

In this webinar, author Dennis Nørmark will delve into his latest book, "The Price of Freedom," and explore the aforementioned challenges, as well as their impact on working life in our organizations.

We will focus on:

  • The concept of freedom and its importance for our work: How does lack of freedom affect our ability to innovate and work efficiently?
  • Innovation problems: What are the typical obstacles and how can we free ourselves from them?
  • The impact of pseudowork: How does meaningless work affect our well-being, daily work and engagement?
  • Dennis' advice to HR professionals and organizations: How can we use these insights to improve our practices and promote a more free, effective and meaningful work culture?

Join this webinar to learn about the challenges facing modern organizations, including complexity, over-bureaucratization and the need to focus on real work tasks to drive innovation.
