Employee Experience – What is it really? (Online)

Employee Experience goes beyond just having a highly engaged workforce or perception of the company’s culture. The Employee Experience reflects the journey an employee takes within your organization. It includes every interaction that happens along the employee life cycle plus factors like job or role definition, workspace, tools, teams, managers, and wellbeing.

Employee Experience is widely acknowledged by many organizations and HR practitioners as being important. However, because of its complexity, approaching the task of improving the Employee Experience can still be challenging. The main question we will focus on at this meeting is: How can we improve Employee Experience in our organizations? And how can we measure the effect?

Join this NOCA event and take part in the discussion on what Employee Experience really is and why it is so important to focus on an engaged workforce. How to approach the concept in your own organization? From an evidence-based perspective we will look at:  

  • Which measurable elements of Employee Experience are most impactful?
  • How to use Employee Experience listening platforms for gathering insights? 
  • How to align Employee Experience to HR processes & “moments that matter“?

Pete Jaworski - NOCAPete Jaworski, Managing Partner, Nordic Human Capital Advisory (NHCA).

Over the past 3 years Pete has provided advisory services regarding Human Capital Analytics Strategy, first as Principal Consultant at PwC, then as an independent consultant, and now through NHCA – an academic consultancy. Pete also has 18 years of HR program-building-experience gained from prior roles such as Director of Workforce Analytics & Planning at Novo Nordisk and Head of Reward Infrastructure & Analytics at Nordea.

Jesper Ørsted - NOCAJesper Petersen, Director, Head of Organisation Development, Ørsted

Jesper joined Ørsted (then Dong Energy) in 2009, where he has since held several leading positions within HR. Today, Jesper is Head of Organization Development, which covers both People Analytics, HR Strategy & Planning and HR Digital & Employee Experience. Jesper is educated with an M. Sc. in Industrial Management from Aalborg University.

Jesper will talk about how to approach Employee Experience in a large corporate organization. He will share his knowledge and reflections on some of the difficult issues such as; how do we secure a focus on Employee Experience in all our HR processes? How do we ensure focus outside the scope of HR? How do we communicate? And how do we identify and measure the effects of our efforts?
