Empowerment of middle managers from a CHRO perspective (Online executive HR check in)
The meeting is reserved for members of NOCA's Executive HR Group.
As employees make new demands such as more influence, flexibility and homework, which most workplaces experience, there is now also a desire to have more than one employer, and this puts middle managers in a very special and challenging situation. At this Executive HR Check-in, we get up close and personal with the CHRO's perspective women empowerment of the middle managers.
Simon Thule Viggers, who is responsible for HR at Milestone, will give us an insight into how the middle managers are a central element in the HR strategy. He argues that it is crucial that the decisions should be closer to where you sit with them. Therefore, Simon sees it as one of his most important imprints as CHRO to give middle managers more responsibility. "It is about creating a management structure that brings the decisions closer to where you sit with them. Then they will be the best", he says.
