Talent Management Day 2024 (Closed for sign up)

This conference will primarily be held in English except for the presentation from Emilia van Hauen, who will be the final speaker of the day. Although almost all presentations will be in English, there will still be an opportunity for those who prefer it to speak Danish during various exercises throughout the day.

Talent Management is a crucial HR discipline. The strategic practice of identifying, engaging, and developing employees is both an investment in the present and a safeguard for future success. Organizations face significant challenges regarding employees’ evolving expectations of their workplaces and work-life balance, increasing needs for inclusion and diversity, onboarding millennials into the workforce, while also benefiting from employees staying in the workforce longer, etc. Finally, new technological opportunities and generative AI open the adaptation of Talent Management strategies to match the dynamics of the job market.

*No-show fee: 450 DKK when canceling after May 20th at 12:00 CET. For further information see below.

Attend this conference and gain inspiration on:

  • Practical Cases: Gain insight into how various organizations tackle Talent Management. What are their primary focuses, and what opportunities and challenges do they see on the horizon?
  • Navigating Talent Strategy: Reflecting on Progress and Charting the Course Ahead: Louise Bjerring from Ørsted will share their journey from a more individual-focused talent strategy, emphasizing identification and development of High Potentials, towards a more organizationally focused talent strategy, where Succession Planning, among other things, plays a much larger role.

  • Refining Talent Management: Uncover actionable insights and best practices derived from Rambøll’s talent management experience, including exclusive insights from their Talent Review presented by Karolina Björkman.

  • Internal Mobility: Internal talent mobility is of paramount importance when addressing the need for future leaders with a broader understanding of the value chain. Jacob Ørting Jørgensen from Novo Nordisk will share his thoughts on why a talent broker might be the answer to how to create a stronger internal mobility ecosystem.

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Talent Management: The escalating turnover rate of women within our organizations, particularly in leadership roles, is a pressing concern we cannot ignore. Heidi R. Andersen will shed light on the upcoming EU Gender Balance Directive, set to be released soon, leaving us with just 19 months to meet its requirements. What actions should we take, and what role can/should Talent Management play?

  • Workshop: Participate in a workshop where you can discuss different themes within Talent Management with other attendees. Together, we will explore opportunities and challenges in this area to gain deeper insights collectively.
  • De unge viser vejen til fremtiden: Emilia van Hauen vil udforske, hvordan unge former fremtidens arbejdsmiljø. Lær at motivere og samarbejde med dem for at skabe et dynamisk og inkluderende arbejdsmiljø. This last presentation of the day will be conducted in Danish.
